Sample Design Agreement – College Station Remodeling

Here is a sample design agreement that would entitle you to plans, specs and a walk-through with our key people:

I agree to pay Beck Construction $250 to prepare computer generated plans, specifications and a building contract relative to our discussion. When a building contract is consumated in connection with these plans and specifications, Beck Construction agrees to apply the full amount of the $250 to the purchase price. If the contract is not consumated, all monies paid hereon shall be forfeited to Beck Construction by the undersigned.

These designs and documents will be developed with the assumption that the project will be built according to Beck Construction management and system and techniques. Beck Construction, Inc. shall not be held responsible for errors and omissions if construction is performed by others not familiar with the systems and methods of Beck Construction

No engineering work is included unless expressly specified.

Measurements, sizes and shapes in plans and specifications are approximate and subject to field verification and structural idiosyncrasies. Beck Construction shall not be held responsible for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions of any and all information supplied by owner or agent for owner.

Above agreement applies to one set of specifications and plans only. Additional work may involve an extra charge over and above the estimate.

Payments are to be made as follows:

$250 due upon commencement of agreement

Accepted. The above prices, specifications and conditions are satisfactory and are hereby accepted. You are authorized to do the work as specified. Payment will be made as outlined above. This proposal may be withdrawn by us if not accepted within 30 days.
